2. Scope

These Terms govern the use of the open-source software extension (“Add-on”) developed by CodeFair for the open-source application Anki.

This Add-on is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Anki project or its developers.

4. No Warranty

5. Limitation of Liability

Liability is excluded except in cases of:

6. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for the content they create within flashcards. The Add-on does not require users to enter personal data.

Users are advised not to include sensitive personal data (Art. 9 GDPR) unless strictly necessary for their learning purposes.

2. Overview of Data Processing

The Add-on stores user-generated flashcard content (“User Generated Content” or “UGC”) on CodeFair servers where synchronization or extended functionality is enabled.

UGC may contain personal data within the meaning of Art. 4(1) GDPR if users include identifiable information within their learning content.

CodeFair does not actively monitor, analyze, or profile flashcard content. Storage occurs solely to provide technical functionality.

Technical usage metrics are anonymized prior to storage and cannot be linked to individual users.

Flashcard content itself is not automatically anonymized, as it is defined and controlled by the user.

If users voluntarily include special categories of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR) within flashcards, such inclusion is solely at the user's discretion.

Flashcard content is stored for the duration of active use of the Add-on.
